Before I begin I need to say that I am looking for someone between 53 and 64 and that I will not answer any e-mails that are not accompanied by a photo.
Now that that is out of the way I can begin. At this time I do not have a career because of an injury that I sustain while working as a Semi-Truck driver. During my life I also worked as a police officer, private investigator, casino surveillance and project manager for three different government facilities.
I don't think that I am that bad looking. I have my faults, as does everyone, but once I make a commitment, I stand by it. I also do not believe in more than one woman in my romantic life. Heck, at my age that's all I can handle.
I enjoy doing a number of things, such as going to musical shows, traveling, and volunteering with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Cancer Society, I'm an avid genealogist and enjoy doing the normal boy's thing  like camping (RV or tent) and fishing. Taking day excursions to different places. Going to the mountains or ocean, exploring old ghost town and forts, photography. My two favorite places is the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park.
I am a very good cook and love cooking special meals. My favorite dish is Maryland Crab Cakes (with real crab meat) and believe it or not, I even clean up after myself (laughing).
I have a 29 year old daughter, 2 sons (41 and 31), 2 un-official sons (42 and 37), 5 grandsons (12-3) and 3 un-official grandsons and they all mean the world to me. The un-official sons and grandsons are from my girlfriend (of 17 years), who passed away.
I am looking for that one true soul mate. The one who is really looking for the same as I am, true HAPPINESS. I do not want or need someone who's whole life is money oriented and materialistic. But someone who has pride in themselves, a smile that would make me want to melt, who is not afraid to be a real woman when alone with her mate and must want to build a good adventurous life with a one woman man.
