I'm financially secure after selling my shares in a professional services firm last year and that’s why I don’t have a job. I don’t work for anyone but me. I pay better, have better benefits, yet the money isn't important. It’s only a means to other things-some important to me-like putting both of my daughters through college (my oldest enters Medical School next year.) I spend more time working than I should mostly because the thought of failing is unaceptable and extra hours are easier to swallow than failure. My divorce was final in February 2006 and we’re still good friends. I laugh a lot, ride my Harley, play poker and golf with my friends, do spontaneous things like send flowers or take you out for drinks after work.
Sometimes disappear for days on a road trip with friends but never for too long, sometimes take cool people with us on a biker’s weekend. Who would know to look at the suit huh? BTW, the suit is my alter ego but I like it. The real guy rides a bike with lots of chrome and really loud pipes but still likes cats & dogs.
