I'm a retired Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer so things like honesty, integrity, loyalty and excellence are more than just words to me. I'm here in North Dakota by choice, it's beautiful wide open country and I can hunt about 5 minutes from my front door. I've been all over the world and found my own slice of heaven here on the rolling prairie. I love the outdoors and being able to share that with another is a gift. My twin 9 year old boys mean the world to me; I'm able to experience my childhood again through their eyes and growth. I've been taught how to be a gentleman and yet, to fiercely stand on my principles and core values. I enjoy a lively discussion and somebody who also has their own beliefs and values. At times, I'm not too quick on the uptake, so it takes somebody with enough character that will hit me between the eyes with the proverbial 2x4 to get my attention. I've done all the howling at the moon that I need to do in this lifetime, so I've grown to really appreciate the simpler things in life. I don't believe that there is anything more romantic than being able to gently kiss a woman on the back of her neck as she falls asleep cradled in my arms or curled up next to me with her head on my chest. That intimacy, and being able to smile at each other in the morning with the unspoken bond is what keeps me trying.
