What I am looking for: A man who understands: Peace, serenity, compassion, joy, an interest in the world, common sense, and is willing to be a life long friend and lover.

My travels and work have taken me all over the world. From different cultures I have absorbed the ideals that appealed to me regarding the treatment of other people. I have learned that we do not always have the best way of doing things here in North America.

I have had to cook my food on the ground, live primarily outdoors, learn how to garden with local foods and treat my illnesses with local medicine. I have stayed in 5-star hotels and traveled a lot in first class. My preference: a simpler life closer to cooking my food on the ground. Blue jeans are my preferred attire and spending time putting on makeup is not in my repertoire of daily activity.

If you have not traveled very far outside of the state or province that you live in, we probably would not understand each other. If you want a glamour queen, you will not find it here. If you are addicted to an excessive material life, I cannot understand you.

It is not possible for you or me to change who we are at this stage in our lives for someone else. We both come with habits that must be intertwined into new habits of a couple. If you insist that only your lifestyle is valid, then you do not understand the word compromise and a relationship with me will not work.

If you tell me how many women you have had in your life and how badly they have treated you, then I will assume you now dislike women immensely and I will not even consider you as a close friend because this attitude towards women usually results in arguments, controlling behavior, and perhaps violence.

Said simpler:

Dishonesty, unfaithfulness, failure to show respect for all creatures on this earth (does not apply to insects)..................will negate my interest.

.........and I felt that way yesterday, today, and will tomorrow.

I am a touchy-feely person. I want to be able to touch you, hold you, and look at you. I want you to reach out for me. I want closeness, I want intimacy, physical love and emotional love (See my blog: Not Hard To Please-thanks). I will give only you this love. I will not share my love, as a lover, with anyone but you and I expect the same from you.
