I'd like to meet a "gentleman" who is truly that -- kind, gentle, caring, conservative, attractive, giving, loving and, of course, a bit of wealth would be an added bonus! I am a very charitable woman, loving all creatures, great and small, including chickens, of which I have thirty or more! I am a sucker for any animal cause, especially the one "named after moi!" (Doris Day Animal League).
I have been controlled and "his wife" for forty years with absolutely no self-esteem nor identity. Following a bout with self-destruction, I decided it was time to break these forty-year old ties that bind and spring free, showing my independence. I enjoy writing and ofttimes become carried away at the keyboard. I was employed by a television/radio station and composed many commercials, scripts, etc. Have done PR and writing for the past thirty five years.
I enjoy ALL people, especially those who are on my side of the political fence, although others are extremely interesting. I glean much from my liberal friends of which I have many--you don't have to agree to still be friends. I probably would not have made that statement five years ago! As we mature, we gain just a minuscule amount of sense. compassion and understanding why they think as they do.
I can engage a stranger in conversation and do just that when I am released from my four walls. I do not look my age, as I have taken extremely good care of my complexion since I was fourteen. I really don't look a day over 50!  MOF, my daughter recently phoned to say when she looked into the mirror while applying makeup, said "Great Godfrey -- I've turned into my mother!" I think that was a compliment!
