My current hobby is volleyball. When I lived in California for 5 years after college, my hobbies also included snow boarding, sailing, wine tasting, camping, and hiking. There's something to be said about jumping off the top of a mountain with a board strapped to your boots... it was a fun but busy life. In 2005, I moved back to the Midwest to be around family... 7 siblings, 9 nieces/nephews. One of my pictures is with a sister on our parents' patio in Quincy. I just transitioned jobs in IT consulting and am still currently located in Bloomington, IL. I can move anywhere with my current job, and eventually I'm planning to move back to Quincy.
I enjoy the little things in life, like the beauty of God's creation, or stillness over coffee at the start of a new day. My friends say I'm genuine, intentional, energetic, and spiritual.
My family history was pretty rough until going into foster care at age 16; I consider my foster parents to be my real parents and only 3 of my 7 "siblings" are biological.
A fun fact: I used to dance hip/hop and break styles in shows out in California. I'm finished with that stage, but look forward to eventually learning Latin/Salsa or another close couple's dance.
Despite my secure nature, I have an empty space in my heart for another. I'm looking for a woman to whom I'm attracted.
