I am extremely artistic/creative; a hopeFUL romantic; funny; sensitive; compassionate; some would say intense and most say passionate, loving; generous; sensual and definitely affectionate. I am deep rather than superficial and believe that inner beauty is FAR more important tjan outward appearances, which shine in a person's eyes. Definitely outgoing; extroverted; a great conversationalist; emotionally passionate in my beliefs but feel everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but would hope that "He" would share some of them. Friendly; kind; and most decidely an animal lover who loves nature and finds beauty in it and all living things. I believe that all living things have a soul which should be respected. Spiritual not religious, I believe in treating others as you would like to be treated is more important than the rest of the commandments except "thou shalt not kill" which is just as important and that includes hunters (I root for Bambi). No I am not a vegetarian, but I won't kill something to have meat either as that's what supermarkets are for. I like the finer things in life but wouldn't sell my soul to get them. My idea of camping is a luxury RV or The Marriott.
Politically I am definitely a progressive liberal Democrat (although this is not something we have to agree on just as long as "He" doesn't try to convert me to his conservative right wing Rush Lumbaugh/Bushite beliefs because I am strong-minded enough to know that's not going to happen). He is entitled to his beliefs as I am. I don't try to change anyone and he shouldn't try to change me either.
I am now a published author of my first book and I am thrilled! I will continue to do my counseling as well as sculpting.
I am not into sports much - it's a guy thing. I'll stitch or spend MY time in the kitchen if my boyfriend wants to watch games just as long as he spends time with me afterward. I don't expect him to give up his games if he truly loves them or anything else he loves for that matter if I don't, but if he loves me, he will find time for me just as I will him (though I will go to a game in person occasionally or watch the last game of the World Series (if the Sox is in it) or the Super Bowl (especially if New England is in it).
Within me there is an intense desire to love and be loved for who and what I am as with most single people whether they admit it or not. Still I am finding it is difficult to find Mr. Right and I won't settle for someone who doesn't fit what I want.
I'm a non-smoker; extremely light to non-drinker (never have been drunk a day in my life) and have never used a drug.
I believe the strongest foundation for a lasting relationship is platonic friendship which blossoms through shared interests; respect; affection; great conversations about a variety of topics; honesty; affection and then love will stem from those. True love must be nurtured and cared for. Never take each other for granted. The little things DO matter. I spoil those I love but I have learned that that will be a two way street or I will stop spoiling.
