Hello My Name is Angelina. I lived in Terrytown for most of my life and moved to Gonzales after Hurricane Katrina. I would like to tell everyone a little about my family- My Husband, Late Harold Sr.; My sons, Michael and Harold Jr.; and My daughter, Kristen Marie! I was born in New Orleans. I have beautiful wonderful kids that have always been a part of my life. I do have a step son, Michael and I have always taken him as a kid of mine. My boys are there for me, but my lil angel Kristen Marie definitely sticks to my side all the time. I can count on her for anything! When I moved to Gonzales, my husband and I purchased a brand new house and it is simply gorgeous! My husband was born and raised here in Ascension Parish, but his hometown was Donaldsonville. Thus, I was born and raised in New Orleans! My husband got to meet all his old friends from this area that he did not see in many years. It was like a big reunion for him. One in particular, David Matasa, came over and they hugged and cried like brothers! He graduated from Donaldsonville High School and also played football and baseball there! He was a true star! His favorite coach was Gerald Alexander and he was the football coach. This man always spoke very good about my husband. My husband also worked for the United States Postal Service for over 35 years in Westwego, LA and retired here in Gonzales. Upon retirement, he decided to do part time work as a bread driver for Jumonville's Bakery in Gonzales about 5 minutes from our home...! He was a hardworking man and always wanted to work for his family... he was definitely a supporter and great father to his kids! "There is NO man that can replace him!" Unfortunately, my husband was killed in an automobile accident on Aug. 12, 2006. Our anniversary was on August 8 and he was killed 4 days later. I truly felt my world was ended, but until I realized I had my kids to lean on.. and JESUS ..it was then I knew I could make it. "The LORD never gives you more than you can handle!" I know he is in a better place.. I just can't wait to reunite with him.. how glorious will that day be???... I can only imagine! I know my heart is broken for life, but the LORD will take care of me because I am a widow! When you face problems/dilemmas in life, "Just have faith in the LORD and you will see the light and the pathway to a brighter day!" Enjoy my page and always remember to rejoice in the LORD
