Recently moved from the Silicon Valley with my two great kids in tow. My geography is temporary as I'm a coastal woman. I am currently wrapping up my degree in marine archaeology because of my love for the Navy, history, and scuba. I am also attending welding school in the next couple of months - Whoosh! (the sound of the water from Flash Dance! ). It is something that has always interested me so I'm just going to go for it and, I don't know, create a ship or some great work of art! I am happiest on, in, or near the ocean. I play tennis, the violin (since age 6), am well traveled, and love world music, world foods, that amazing glass of petite syrah, and a perfectly poured Weissen or Guinness. I am as comfortable in jeans and a baseball hat spiraling a football/enjoying a college game as I am in a ball gown adoring the theatre and symphony. I grew up in the classical community so an appreciation for the arts is a must. I'm still a hopeless romantic and believe in great intelligent conversation and communication, otherwise, what is the point? You should have a silly side as well...life should be enjoyed, not taken too seriously. Oh, you should also know that I'm also a bit of a sci-fi geek. I don't speak Klingon or wear costumes, however, I did truly enjoy reading The Physics of Star Trek and really love the shows. Geeky, that's endearing, right? Please, no married men. I am looking for someone to travel through life with - not to have an occasional fling with. I am searching for something more extraordinary than just a pocketbook, and a handsome face. Intelligence, genuine affection, creativity, and a zest for life is so much more appealing. Everything else is welcomed gravy.
