Although I consider myself laid back, I also have a bit of a wild side. I don't let people walk all over me. I pretty much say what's on my mind, when it's on my mind, but know what the definition of TACT is. I love to laugh, but am not afraid to cry. If you see me, I'll usually have a smile on my face. I try to look at what's positive in all aspects of life, and work on turning the negative around.
If you were to ask my friends, they would probably tell you I've got a pretty good sense of humor. Like I said, I love to laugh and I love to make those around me laugh too. Yes, sometimes it's at my own expense. But it's all good.
Although there are numerous things in my life that I wish would have turned out differently, I have no regrets. Each experience I have learned and grown from.
I accept people for who they are and appreciate where they've been; there are many forks in this road of life. I try not to criticize or be judgmental. I've been told that I'm too forgiving, but I really think that there is only one person who should judge us, and if He can forgive, why can't the rest of us??
My "perfect" match, and yes, I realize, nobody is "perfect", would have common interests that I do and then some. They wouldn't necessarily have to be outgoing ALL of the time, but, I do love to laugh so they should too! I'm not adverse to trying new things, if you shoot pool, teach me!
Honesty is the most important quality I'm looking for. I guess emotional stability would run a close second. We all have battles to fight, but you also need to determine which ones can be fought and which ones just aren't worth it. Life's too short to worry about the little stuff.
I have 3 kids (17, 8 and 6) and a 2 year old grandson that I raise alone. As far as my match having children, thats great, but at 42, I'm not looking to having anymore myself.
