I am a 53 year old single white female looking for a companion. I enjoy taking walks, movies, eating out, taking trips to the mountains and the beach. I have never traveled and I would like very much to see different parts of the country.
I have 2 grandchildren a girl 2 (3 in August) and a boy who will be 1 in June. I love spending time with them when I can. I live and take care of my elderly father since my mother passed away 4 years ago. That is not an easy task but I do my best.
I'm a good cook, but would love for someone to cook for me once in a while. That is why I love to go out to eat, I can be waited on for a change. I am always looking after everyone else and no one never takes care of me.
I am a very easy going person who enjoys having a good time and laughing and making jokes. I have a wonderful sense of humor and see the humor in most things.
I have had only one serious relationship since divorcing in 1991. I have always devoted my time to my son, now 24. Now he is grown, I want to be able to experience things in life I have neverf seen before. I do not party very often because I do not have anyone to party with. I love to have a good time and be able to be myself, and not be judged by the way I talk, because I do have a strong southern accent. I was born and raised in Stokes County, but I can fit into any situation.
I hope I am able to meet someone who will respect me and be able to be objective when we do not agree on a situation. I want someone to listen to "me" and care about what I have to say. It may not be right, but I should be able to voice my opinion as well as everyone else.
I don't think I have too high of standards in a man, all I want is for someone to love me and respect me for who I am.
