Hi there and thank you for taking the time to explore who I am, I'd like to return the favor.
Warmth, sincerity, smiles and laughter describes who I am. I'm affectionate, considerate, a gentleman and respect women. As for my likes and dislikes, I won't list clichés such as "walks on the beach," "romantic dinners," etc, those are obvious - let's discover our likes together. I would add that I truly believe that with the right person most anything can be enjoyable. Let's talk. The worst that could happen is that we both make a new friend and who knows? Although I'm divorced, I make a great boyfriend and/or husband. I’m a keeper. I'm user friendly.
I'm divorced and have ex-stepsons who I adore and they me. Although I love children, obviously, at this point in life, kids are probably not (but could be) in my future. I'll enjoy what I now have and what my future partner has.
What do I enjoy to doing? On weekends, I often turn into a tourist because I've only lived in Savannah for about five years. Also, I could spend an afternoon at a used bookstore or Barns & Noble with you and a cup of coffee. I eat literature. I always have since I read the Hardy Boys when I was a kid. About two years ago I found on the Internet the first book I ever read for pleasure when I was in grade school. Of course I bought it. Are you ready? The title is "I Was A Teenage Dwarf". It's the original life story of Dobbie Gillis. I reread it and although it didn't have the same meaning for me, I laughed my way through it.
I also enjoy cooking and fine wines. I can out cook any woman I know. Come on, challenge me. I'd love to prepare dinner for you some evening.
Nature is a passion so I walk a lot. I'm very comfortable with my alone time. I also walk to lose weight. Please peek at my photos again, (all very recent). I'm stocky, healthy but with twenty-five pounds to lose. I have broad shoulders so I'll never be skinny.
Moving right along. Creative writing is a long-time passion. Three years ago, I finished writing a novel. I have a good friend in Atlanta who is a professional writer/editor so he agreed to edit and give commentary on the book. Edits were minimal and he strongly suggested that I find a literary agent to get the work published. I suppose I should give it a try. I'm not afraid of rejection, never have been, and I realize that the answer for sure is "No" if I don't try. It's like you and I contacting each other - if we don't, for sure the answer is "No" but now, if we’re very, very lucky, we'll get to meet and explore us as a possible "us".
The book is about an advertising exec falling in love with a blind woman. It takes the reader through real and imagined obstacles the lovers come across. The book is fun, sprinkled with humor, romance, it's a little naughty and it’s absolutely impossible for you to guess the ending. Want to read it?

Let's walk on the beach or talk over a glass of wine or coffee while sitting at an outdoor café.
