I have been an Occupational Therapist, a Computer Engineer, a Sales Engineer, a Marketing Manager, and a Sales Manager and was very successful at my career. I cashed out on LTD (Long-Term Disability), as a Management Retiree from Verizon, early, and got surgery. Now, almost everything is fixed and I am like the Bionic Woman and also the poster child for successful surgery! I do not look or act disabled at all and drive and walk fine! Now, I am going to go back to college to study music composition!
At this half-way point in my life I have set a new goal to write music - lyrics and music composition. I have achieved all previous goals and felt lost until I realized that I can finally do the things that I had always put off until later! I have a new-found excitement about life again and want my relationship to be happy and exciting with lots of fun & adventure and home-body times curling up together.
I am an easy-going, level-headed person who is used to life's ups and downs and have learned to take them in stride. I have an "OLD SOUL" and live a spiritual life! The person that I will choose next will be similar. No hot-tempers or alcoholics please! Also, please do not be "anal" and/or "rigid" since I am a free-flowing person who doesn't live on a tight schedule anymore. I like to go with the flow and I hope that you do, too, and please be honest with yourself. If I am running late because of something major happening in my life, I need to be with a person who will be able to change their schedule occasionally to accommodate me, without being "rigid" and getting angry. I would also do the same for you anytime! I am most always prompt & courteous so please don't take this as I will be late ALL the time since I don't like keeping people waiting!
I am an adventurer who will try just about anything! I went sky-diving with accelerated free-fall with lots of free-fall with each dive! I am also an advanced sailor who took all the lessons that I could at the Lido Sailing Club in Newport Beach, California, and I took out all of their big boats without ever an incident. My navigation skills are pretty "stellar", too! I am an over-achiever who has succeeded in everything that I've ever attempted to do, so please be a person that can handle an intelligent woman without feeling insecure. I have lots of free time now to do what I want when I want and can accommodate to your schedule and also do part or all of the driving to you, if necessary, for the most time together.
I am not on here for a "smörgåsbord" of dating to sample all the different men! Instead, I prefer to just meet those that write to me and that I can feel comfortable with your personality, after we chat for awhile on the phone and agree to meet. If I do meet you and we "click", I will not be continuing to date on here thinking that I might be missing out on something. Please be the type of man that will want the same thing and not just looking for meeting all the women that you can and seeing how many notches that you can add to your bedpost!
