I am a widow for 4 years. Have done very little dating yet,but now is the time to start.
Though semi-retired, I have been working off and on for the Dept.of Defense in a rather narrow specialized area. I want to do my part in the war against terror and have found a way to be useful.
My daughters are all schooled and grown and are encouraging me to get out here and have some fun.
Currently my fun is a poker league with whom I play poker several evenings a week. It is a fine example of democracy with all ages and social economic groups but since most are younger. I do love playing tournaments poker though and this is a safe, economical way to play regularly and improve my skills.
I graduated from Barat College of the Sacred Heart back before boys went there. I completed my Ph.D. at a local university also. For several years I had a clinical practice with my office in Lake Forest. I live in a house that is now way too big for me and my c*cker named Buster. My home is in Waukegan. I spend some time at my cabin(primitive) up in central Wisconsin where Buster and I just hang out, take long walks along empty roads past all my Amish neighbors. I fish in my pond and meander around the property on foot or in my Gator. My grandson loves the Gator rides.
