Single,white educated Charlotte Native. Have lived elsewhere, but returned to my roots. Have musical training and enjoy music of all types immensely. Am very laid back. It takes a lot to upset me, but I do have strong opinions on certain subjects, Am a deep animal lover and own a couple. Am a homeowner. I enjoy a lot of things everyone else does such as trips to the beach or mountains, concerts, movies. I am not a big shopper, but do enjoy yard sales and auctions. I read and love to spend time in local book stores looking for books on subjects I enjoy such as medicine and law. I use to do a lot of crafts and sewed a lot, but due to a serious accident a few years ago have gotten out of sync. I do have some health issues, but nothing that would overly affect my ability to have fun, except that my ability to walk is limited due to a muscle and nerve disease. I am not looking for anything serious, just good friends and people with common interest. I love to cook, collect music boxes, gnomes and some art. I will be moving in a year or so as I am starting an animal sanctuary with some friends in the mountains of TN. I have to many other interest to list. I do volunteer work with kids,animals and the elderly. I would love to have someone, at least, to talk to occasionally to discuss things. I am an excellent listener. I have a very pleasant personality when around the right people, but can have a temper like a wild cat when needed. I have always believed that anger is a waste of time. If people can't work out their differences by accommodation, one of them has a problem. I do have a wicked sense of humor and can be sarcastic. As I have gotten older I tend to be quieter. I am definitely not shy, but more reserved when in public. I am more of a home body now due to trying to recoup from my accident. As a result, I have gained weight and that is one of my concerns. However, I am not one to dwell on myself for very long.
