I've been retired for a few years after 40yrs in the maritime industry. I've been single for a few years. I've been married two times, first time 28 years. second time 3 years.so I'm really not in a big hurry to do it again, but often thought I would like to some day if I could find some one that I'm compatible with, after the funs over you have to have something in common, I do miss the companionship of the opposite sex. Most of my friends are married, they try to include me in alot of things they do but I always in up feeling like a third wheel, I'm not a party person and don't go many places by myself. I'm a lot healthier then a lot of people my age, there isn't much I really can't do. I'm not a health fanatic but I try to eat healthy, I don't smoke or drink or when I do it's very little. I'm not a very good cook but don't mind helping out in the kitchen. I live a little ways outside of a small fishing village on the Oregon coast, I love to salmon and bottom fish in the ocean and spend time at the beach and the local state park. I've been around water all my life and most of my activities are water related. I live within 5 min. from the beach and spend a lot of time there. I enjoy anything that has to do with the outdoors, like crabbing, clamming, canoing, nature reserves I own my own home and do a little gardening but would do more if I was with someone that like it. I'm defiantly not a one way person, I'm easy to get along with and don't like any kind of drama. I like nice things and I have nice things most of them are guys stuff though If you know what I mean. I have a small wood shop, it's been a hobby of mine for several years, I spend a lot of time there and the greenhouse in the winter months, I'm kind of a boat nut to, I injoy building or restoring. I'm looking for a person that likes the outdoors more then the indoors. Please don't be married or separated. I'm not much on e-mailing nor am I looking for a pen pal and I don't feel that distance is a problem if the attraction is the same between two people
