WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

DISCLAIMER
Let me start by saying I think I come across much, much more serious in writing that I actually am. The things I've written are accurate, but if you try talking to me you'll find I joke around a lot, can be jokingly sarcastic, make light of situations that are too serious, and just enjoy life and the moment. I can definitely be serious when the situation deems it appropriate, but most of the time I'm just having fun. Now that I've gotten that out of the way - here is some about me.
ABOUT ME
I'm your not-so-typical, 22 year old college guy. Originally from Huntington Beach, I'm now in Los Angeles for school at USC. Simply put, I have different philosophies about living and how to do things. The philosophies aren't the only right approaches, but I feel they're the right approach for me. I'm very sure about myself and who I am. I'm quite friendly and welcome most any conversation albeit I am not necessarily the type to go strike up conversation with random people on the streets.
SERIOUS CONVERSATIONS
I'm always up for a good debate and am quick to play devil's advocate. So don't think that because I'm contesting an idea/belief of yours that I don't agree with you. You may ask, "Why debate/argue something with you if I agree with your position?" Because, I'm always interested in other people's points of views and there's always the chance I might learn something from you. To some degree, you may consider me to be an intellectual. Certainly, I possess that ability, but I would never want to limit myself strictly to that type of conversation.
FUN CONVERSATIONS
I'm a very laid back, easy going kinda guy. I'll just as soon talk to you about random stuff, as well - sports, movies, tv shows, the weather, good restaurants, or what have you. I love to laugh and have a good time. I think good manners are important. I'll admit, I pay close attention to spelling and grammar errors, but not too anally.
SUMMING IT UP
If you're my friend or significant other, I'm the kind of person you can depend on. I make a purpose of being there for the people I care about. I like to make a difference even if it's just a small one. The small things in life can mean the world. Another thing - I love quotations. Just ask me and I have tons of favorites I could share with you.
HOW 'BOUT A CHAT?
There is so much about me I could tell, but I prefer to learn mostly about others through conversation. It's much more personal and memorable that way. That said, I'd love to chat =)
