I have read hundreds of profiles and thought a lot about the characteristics which beautiful ladies use to describe their vision for a perfect Match. Well, all of those adjectives which you have used (honest, trustworthy, loyal…) can be used to describe me. If you take the time to get to know me you will find that. I will pay 10 times for something rather than have someone think that I have cheated then once. You will be able to trust me with a penny, your deepest secrets, your heart. Loyalty is a big ticket item with me. My interpretation of my character is extremely important to me.
There is one characteristic which I don’t see mentioned often… I am a Giver “not a taker”. Having the gift of giving is a very difficult one. You will find that… If I love you… I will give you all that I have to offer. You will be beautiful to me. I will open doors for you and gently guide you through. If I love you… You will know that you are loved.
I am very flexible and have a wide range of interests. I love to be outside and I need sunshine. So, just about anything that you can think of as an outside activity is great for me… gardening, yard work, walking, hiking, camping, day or weekend trips, vacations are maybe my favorites.
I really enjoy the simple things, staying at home and being together. But, I also enjoy movies, plays and dress up activities.
For food… I like just about everything, eat out, eat in, grilling, picnics. I am not a 3 meal a day kind of guy. I prefer to eat when I am hungry and I prefer to eat with the people I love.
I have two children (Nicholas 20 and Elizabeth 19)… They are both in college and I don’t get to see them nearly often enough. My children are extremely important to me.
I have basically been separated since last September. It is because of my kids that I/we have not pressed for divorce sooner. But, now that the children are out of school for the summer, this process will move quickly.
There are two things about me that I am really working to change. First, I am a work-a-holic. I have dedicated my life to my work. But now I realize that work is just work. I need to spend more time for myself and more time with those that I love.
Second, I am a smoke-a-holic. Seriously, I am quitting. It is/has been very difficult. I realize all the ugliness associated with smoking, the harm it does to me and those around me.
