Easygoing, down to earth and not very hard to read. I'm very willing to say what's on my mind and can usually manage to do so without sticking my foot in my mouth. I tend to take life in stride and don't get too wrapped up in the "small stuff."
I live in Plainfield but I grew up on the south side of Chicago. Most of my friends still live in that neighborhood, so I still spend some time there. My free time is spent at the gym, out with friends or playing an occasional holdem tourney. When I'm out, I enjoy romantic dinners, live music, theater and comedy clubs as well as shooting pool or playing darts at a corner hole-in-the-wall. A night on the couch keeping each other warm also holds a considerable amount of appeal. I have mixed feelings on vacation destinations. I love skiing and other winter sports but a tropical beach or island cruise sound just as good. I'm also an "import", but you'll have to guess where I'm from. 
As to what I'm looking for, a few simple qualities. The ability to see the forest for the trees and exercise a little bit of common sense. The ability to laugh at yourself as much as you laugh at me. I'm also very big on honesty, even when it's a little painful. Outside of that, let's see what happens...
