I lost my oldest son this past September and I have realized that Life just does not have to be that hard.
I know what I want from a relationship, it's really very simple. Love, honesty, commitments, caring, sharing of the good and bad times........why does that seem so hard to acquire?
Life is something that I am thankful for every morning when I wake up. I learned NEVER to assume that tomorrow is yours. I tell my family and friends every time I see or talk to them how very much they mean to me and how very much I love them.
I learned that being with you life partner, family and friends is the most important thing in my life. To show love and to receive love each and everyday as if it were my last.
I am an avid outdoors person. I deer hunt, fish, camp, hike, horseback ride, love the water and really anything that can be done outside. I also love to dance. You won't find me sitting on the couch unless I'm wrapped in the arms of my other half. Tell me one thing that is better than sitting in front of a fire and holding each other without saying a word!!
I am looking for someone to spend what life I have left with. I want someone that will let me support them in matters and to do the same for me. I want someone that will pick me up and I will know when things are at their worst they are always going to be there for me and I in return for them.
Any relationship will have it's ups and downs even at our age, but it's what you do in those times that can make the relationship stronger.
Yes I am a smoker, but if I were to meet someone that is willing to give me the support and understanding to quit.....I can do that.
