I am a happy, content, man who loves my life. I am living my dream of living in the country and being mostly self sufficient. I invented a product 25 years ago that I sell to canoe rentals 5 months of the year and the rest is spent in doing what I want to do. In the summer I sell vegetables and baked goods with my parents and one of my 5 sisters at Farmers' Markets in southwest Missouri. The profits from our baked goods go to support a couple of free clinics and orphanages in a country that is ruled by a military junta and I can't mention in print because it may endanger the people we work with over there.
I moved to Missouri after my business took off and I could quit my real job. I grew up in New Orleans and get to go back several times a year to sell what I make at Mardi Gras and the Jazz Fest. I also go a couple of times in the fall to sell my art at craft shows.
I am looking for a woman who would join me in what I consider an idyllic life. I don't have, nor do I want, a lot of money. My perfect mate would be happy in the knowledge that we will always have a home, we will always have food and we will always have love. I believe in monogamy and honesty,and work hard at everything that I think is worth doing. I have made lousy choices in my mates by selecting women who don't want my life and try to change it. They always think they do but then find out it takes a lot of work to have. Any thing worth having takes work, but I know that if you love what you do, it is not work.
As soon as I can figure out how, I will put a picture on this page. I have spent my adult life rebelling against technology and am behind the curve when it comes to using it. I've only in the very recent past gotten internet access because I needed the e-mail for my position as president of a not-for-profit organization I recently had a hand in forming. I'll figure it out before too long!
