I'm a fun, kind, caring and good hearted person. I'm looking for what I guess everyone is looking for, happiness. After having been married for 16 yrs. I certainly know what I don't want in a relationship. One thing for sure, if you smoke or drink daily (socially ok) please do not reply.
I guess at this age we all have a story or two to tell and a few scars from previous relationships. If you were never married or don't have children by now you are a rarity. I hate using the word "baggage", seriously we all have a past. I'm looking now for a future. A person that I am their END ALL and they are mine. A genuine kind and caring person that really cares about me. Honestly cares about how my day was, cares to know what my favorite color is and makes a point of knowing the names of my friends and knows exactly how I like my coffee. Not because they have to but because they want to. I think you get the picture. Actions do speak louder than words. I feel that there are more important good qualities in people than looking like you just stepped out of a GQ magazine or having a 32 in waist or rippling muscles. I guess as I get older some of those things matter less to me and it is the important things as to how some one treats you and you treat them (respect) is really what counts. Don't get me wrong, obviously there has to be be some sort of attraction, but personality scores higher in my book. You also need some smarts. (No one survives on good looks alone  . I'm not a brain surgeon but I do like some intelligent conversation. But you also need to be able to laugh out loud (even at yourself) and having a good sense of humor is essential. You need to be able to make your own fun and enjoy and appreciate the person you are with, hopefully me.
