I like a happy woman that is kind and gentle and smiles freely and genuinely. Preferably someone that will express herself freely and truthfully-w/o a lot of subterfuge. A woman that enjoys applying the Bible to everyday life. Who views the 10 commandments as an ideal set of ethics, irrespective of changing cultural standards.
I enjoy discussing a wide variety of topics. Lately I have been amazed at God's love and how central it is to Scripture and life. Bible prophecy and origins science have been long term interests.
How's that for an introduction? I chose to be up front about my faith because it defines who I am- and is the general direction of my heart and energies-"yoked oxen can't take different paths" so a little forthrightness can save all of us some "shopping". I'm not "churchy" - more a practical individual that loves the wisdom and truth of the Bible- but even moreso, I love the Author-because He first loved me. Corporate worship is generally disappointing- but I chose not to be jaded by it, since the friends and fellowship often outbalance the bad.
My children and I have been thru a lot together and are extremely important to me, though they are at an age where I'm not needed much anymore.
I would like to pray together-spontaneously if it seems urgent,...and might enjoy studying the Bible together- and would consider sharing some type of outreach/ministry with me.
