My name is James but most people have some kind of nickname for me. The most popular are Ti-Di and Panky. I am a 2nd year Air Traffic Control Major at Lewis University. I have a work-study job as the school's mascot, Bedcheck Charlie. I also am very active in the school's theater. I am currently doing the sound for the second time. I have acted in one play so far and played bass for one of the musicals. I have written a handful of poems, one of which is getting published in multiple collections. In the summer I work in the scoring tower at Illiana Motor Speedway on Sat. nights.
I am very passionate in my hobbies and my studies. I am a lot of fun to be around while still be a very professional person who knows when to buckle down and get things done. I am very unique in many ways. I let myself feel free to let lose and have fun in a responsible manner. I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs and never will. I can look past other's drinking as long as they are reasonable and responsible and do not pressure me. I love helping people and am always there when people need me. I want to be very close to someone who knows when to let us have our time apart. I will not sacrifice my identity for anyone and I would not expect anyone to sacrifice theirs for me.
I am very passionate about a wide variety of things: racing, aviation, playing bass, listening to a wide variety of music: country, oldies, punk, irish.... , acting..... the list goes on.
I do not practice any specific religion. I focus on living a morally right life. I believe in morals, philosophies, and science. However, I do respect all religions. I was raised Catholic and I do believe that all the morals and philosophies I believe can be found in religion.
As far as who I am looking for the biggest thing right now is someone with a head on their shoulders. I have alot of close friends that are immature when it counts, and that's fine. I want a girlfriend that is mature. I mean someone who is not at all afraid to throw around immature jokes, but knows what life and love is all about and practices it. If I can see eye to eye with someone on at least a few important things that would start my interest. After the initial attraction match making is really all about seeing if your personalities mesh up. There is a lot of depth to personalities tht can only be seen by getting to know each other, so I'm willing to chat with anyone that wants to.
