I'm a single, professional, open-minded, honest, friendly, funny, and fun to be around guy! Also I'm driven, confident, affectionate, passionate, trustworthy, family and career oriented person. I'm looking to meet a nice woman for a possible LTR. I would like you to be cute, intelligent, respectful (to yourself and others), honest, and loving/caring. A drama free woman!!! Also, it would help if you smiled and laughed a lot. If you enjoyed a good conversation would be even better. It is a plus if you were able to change a light bulb without me, put the past behind you and start fresh, and liked kids (I have a 9 year old who lives in the area). We all had our share of problems, disappointments, and less than great experiences in past relationships, but the question is whether we learned from them without making them an impediment to our future.
I think is very important for you to know- AGE is not a problem for me. I will be judging you based on your maturity level (whether you're younger or older than me) and personality, not based on a number as I learned throughout the years that it is nothing but a number. I've seen 18 year olds being much more mature than some in their 40's and some very immature ones in their 30's and 40's! Here is a couple disclaimers:
1--- BTW, I have a 9 year-old boy. We spend a lot of time together and we are very very close. He lives with his mother most of the time but has access to my place at all times as I try to be the best father I could. He (or his mother) is in no way a problem in terms of my private life (dating). I would hope that you can see trying to be a good father as a good character, but if you do not and think you can accept that fact, please, don't bother contacting me or replying to my message.
2--- This is something that most people would not mention or purposely and conveniently neglect to mention- Well I'm not like that. I smoke cigarettes but working on quitting (down to a pack every 4-5 days) not because I'm doing it for someone else but for many other reasons topped by health as well as hygiene. I hate the smell of smoke like most people who don't smoke. I do not smoke in my apt, I do not smoke near my son, and brush teeth somewhere between 5- 8 times a day to get rid of the taste of cigs as well as the smell! If that something that makes you uncomfortable, you can't excuse (I say this because let's face it we all have our addictions), can't see yourself tolerating it until it is gone, then you are talking to the wrong person. BUT keep in mind not to be hypocritical like the lady who had in her profile "Drink REGULARLY" then tells me I have an addiction and when I get rid of it I should contact her. Well that one did not get a REGULAR reply- instead she got "Sorry hun, but smokers don't have Smokers Anonymous" but those who drink RGULARLY should consult and AA group!"
3--- One last one- (LOL) the fact that I winked at you, it does mean that I'm interested and wanted to know if you are too. If you wanted to further explore whether we are a good match or not, you just need to follow your heart. So to those who are not very fond of winks, please don't take this as any less personable than a smile at a bar or club- interested, return one, not interested say so or walk away!
