Let's see, I am from Texas. I just moved here July 15.One of my best
friends in the world from high school and his family have lived here for
7yrs. I came to visit in June and decided to move here. How can I
just drop everything and move like that you may ask? My life is a
do-over! I am divorced, no kids and I had already left my previous job
as I have a very low tolerance for multinational conglomerates that
have a low opinion of good people and an over developed dislike of
bullies. Suffice it to say I wouldn't stand idly by.
So, I am in Colorado and I am looking for my future.
I believe that I am at a crossroads, therefore I am, right?
Well, ever onward!
I don't like mean people, I'm very easy going and amiable. I don't
like confrontation, but I won't back away. I'm honest, overly
honorable and sometimes I'll bite my nose off to spite my face if
it involves a stand on principle. My friends wife says I'm sweet,
so I guess it must be true.
I'm a very even keel kind of guy, don't care for drama and crises
on a daily basis. Smooth water is preferable. If I want a roller
coaster ride, I'll ride a roller coaster.( love 'em by the way! ) I'm
usually at the center of the clowns at a party and don't mind if
some of the laughing is at me, as long as people are having fun!
I'm pretty much a live and let live kind of guy. I love the outdoors,
especially here, love music, many genres and I am looking forward
to new adventures. I am generally a glass is half full kind of guy.
I heard a statistic that, if you have two meals today and a roof
over your head tonight, you are in the top 25% of the worlds
population. Someone always has it worse than I do.
I tend to be a realist, although I miss the dreamer I was when I
was young.
Skeptical, analytical and pragmatic.
But, in my defense I tend to have an odd, random sense of humor.
I generally don't judge people by appearances, I absolutely judge
people by their actions. I do, however, hold myself to the same
standards that I hold others to. I'm generally a contented person.
Happy with who I am and trying to better my circumstances
Aren't we all?
I'd love to make some new friends, find the fun places to hang
out and possibly even find someone special. What are the odds?
I'm not in any hurry though, slow and easy wins the race!
Did that ever make any damn sense to anyone?
It generally does not!
Oh well, context right? Right.
