Moved from northern Michigan to the Columbus area of MT in order to escape the hectic pace of the industrial economy. Fullfilling a life long dream of living in the West on small ranch. Close enough to a big city for cultural events but remote enough to enjoy the wide open spaces. Am divorced for several years a after a twenty-seven year plus marriage. Have raised two great children both of which have completeted college, one is back to graduate school. Enjoy downhill skiing, snow shoeing, antiques, building, riding, rodeos and training / raising animals. Am looking forward to being with someone that enjoys the out-of-doors, this type of lifestyle, and doing things together. Indoor activities include educational TV, CNN, good sound systems, watching a good DVD, remodeling, cooking, and working with computers. Have always had a lot of hands on skills repairing all types of mechanical equipment, designing and building, various household repairs and other household tasks including, laundry, cooking and cleaning. But, of course would rather remodel, build or fix something. Retired from teaching several years ago, recently sold my business (doing wood carving and commercial signs) and am now in a management position where I enjoy going to work and meeting people. Not really into hunting, but do enjoy fishing. Love to look at wildlife and photograph them. As I learn more about animals' spirit, would find it difficult to harm them. Enjoy camping or staying at the Radison. Can't deal with arguments, putdowns, mind games or casual sex. Not interested in someone that drinks on a regular basis. Comfortable in a tux or Cartharts, but have to rent the tux, have plenty of the Cartharts. Enjoy meeting new people, going out to dinner, hiking, riding horses, dancing, searching for a special antique or attending an auction. Have traveled throughout the US and Canada. . Would like to hear from you! Looking for someone that wants friendship and honesty first and then let nature take HER course. Feel that a relationship cannot exist without those two items first. Looking for the all elusive soul-mate. Can drive or ride in a BMW or an old four wheel drive truck. My second choice would be the BMW. Actually think I'm beyond the expensive car or motorcycle phase of life. Now a new 4wd tractor, that would be tops.
