Totally new to this sort of thing! Just relocated here from Hawaii. Two daughters, ages 26 (in Bay Area) and 27 (here), and one grandson, age 8 1/2 months, who I'm sure is the next Einstein. I'm pretty traditional and enjoy family and friends, cooking, gardening, writing, the outdoors, being in, on, or around water, travel (I've been on five continents so far), animals, and lots more. (Yeeks...that sounds boring...but I'm really not.) I've never cheated on a relationship in my life, so if we end up forming one, I won't do it to you. If absolutely necessary I can sit down six for a formal dinner complete with fingerbowls, but I'd much rather throw an informal potluck for friends. You won't find me without at least one cat, and I'm an avid reader who shipped nearly six hundred books back from Hawaii. I'm looking for a friend and companion, and I'm not in a rush. If you're looking for a countdown to the "third date roll in the hay" you are definitely not looking for me because that, to me, means a very strong emotional attachment.
