I firmly believe we are all products of past experiences, that is ultimately what makes us who we are. Each and every experience teaches us something new about ourselves and others. I've recently learned that dating in the "real world" is much different than what transpires here. What we have here...are words (hopefully with complete honesty behind them)...and an opportunity to get to know one another on some level...but unfortunatley, we don't hear the inflection, tone, or pitch to our voice...we don't get to feel the tender kiss on the back of our neck...we don't see the wink at a social function,saying..."I'm here, and you look beautiful"...we don't get to hear the sigh after a hard day, saying..."I sure wish you would come here and let me put my head in your lap." All that this form of "dating" gives us is an opportunity to maybe share those things with each other one day.

You should know that if I love you, I will most likely call you at work just to tell you that very thing...and also ask "Soooo what are you wearing?!"  Also, I will probably grab you up...jump in the car and take a long drive to no-where, enabling us to talk about anything and everything. You can bank on the fact that I will tell you how adorable you are every chance I get! On my way home from work, I just might stop and buy your favorite thing and make it for dinner...I will most likely leave a greeting card for you to read, letting you that you are on my mind. If these things seem silly to you, then we probably wouldn't function well in a relationship together. If you are verbally affectionate, sincere, independent (yet vulnerable) passionate, funny (but not cruel), spiritual (but not religious) and if you are looking for a "significant other" and not necessarily a "wife"...we might get along. My own personal spiritual journey has taken me to many places. I've done my share of questioning life, striving for improvement, seeking out knowledge, and searching for the divine. I believe that "spiritual practices" can take on many forms...because embracing the spiritual is a very personal thing for me. I think that we are all fundamentally spiritual beings, and the basic part of that lies in knowing one's own true self and finding peace within that. I try to practice compassion, gratitude, appreciation, forgiveness, generosity, and take care of myself...and while I fall short in any and all of these areas on a daily basis, it is what I strive for, long for, hope for, in all of my relationships with others. Whatever the case, I think I have done the "inner-work" necessary to have a healthy relationship...have you?
I have a BA in Speech Communication/Minor in Industrial Psych., I am the Marketing Manager for a food company. I've been in the food industry in virtually every capacity for the last 25 years. After I received my BA, I went to Culinary School in New York and became certified in "Food Styling" for all forms of media...food styling is much less glamorous than it sounds!
I have lived in the following states: CA (both N.& S. Cal.), NE, PA, MI, TX, and AR. I toured with a singing group of 12 that sang in every state in the U.S. and the lower half of Canada. Many of my fellow singers remain some of my most treasured friends...after all, you don't really know someone unless you've traveled with them! (Two of our songs are on the playlist below).
