I am an honest, outgoing, and fun person looking for someone who is honest, trustworthy, and who knows how to be romantic. Speaking of being honest, I have just recently left my boyfriend of almost three years. Due to that, I am in no real hurry to get deeply involved right away.
My goal now is to find a man with which I can start a fulfilling friendship and with which I can grow and thrive as the best person that I can be. Then if it works out someday, maybe the friendship can grow into a romantic relationship.
I love to do and get things for the one I care about most! It would be very nice to find someone who feels the same. This me reminds me of something someone told me they heard Dr. Phil say and that is that he wakes up every morning with the attitude of "What can I do to make my woman happy today?" Now whether this is true or not of Dr. Phi, I want to have someone in my life for which I can feel this way and vice versa.
I work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a UNIX System Engineer/Administrator and really enjoy my job. Call me weird, but I actually look forward to going into work!  I'm in my 17th year at JPL.
Away from my day gig, I am a professional trumpet player freelancing around L.A. I really enjoy playing in the pit orchestra of musicals and in great bands whether the band is a Salsa band or a swing band. I also occasionally lead my big band called Big Band Theory (BBT) in gigs around town. BBT is comprised of players who all work at JPL..... it's one smart band!! I love to play for large audiences as they give me incredible energy that just livens me up. Tons of fun!
At home, I do get some well deserved relaxation; however, I also take care of my 84 year old handicapped friend, Paulee, who lives with me. He's also a trumpet player, is quite the legend in the world of Salsa as a music arranger/composer, and a great person.
It may sound like I'm overly busy in life, but that's not really the case. For me, it's a pretty nice balance that goes rather well with my level of energy.
