Trust is NOT a four letter word, its a truth, a basic need, and without it?
You have nothing. I guess its very important to remember that it works both ways. Been guilty of not trusting, and though I have been burned? I refuse to give up my faith in the basic good of humans. So, you get what you give.
So lessons learned. Can't point your finger at others without that old saying, (you have four pointing back at you?)..
I have a ridiculous habit of using ampersands at the end of every statement.. ..(HAH, now Im just showing off, just found out there was an actual NAME for that habit, lol)
I have been informed whenever I post, I usually follow up a statement with a question. Is that true?
I am creative, smart, sometimes funny, sometimes miss the mark on that.
I am very loyal to my true friends, and won't add you to my friends list on the basis of a few emails. I have learned much to my dismay that friends can and will change, that gossip and rumors can hurt relationships, and that its better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Unfortunately? I am not sure I can stop myself at times from removing the doubts.......
But I can try.
The best you can do is get up every day and resolve to do better. Far from perfect, never going to be there, (ummm..that would be, what...a saint?)
But I can continue to try to be the best person I can be, ignore the snide and snipey jealous sides of people....and continue to know that every person I meet really does have something of value to teach me.
I would love and want to be with a certain someone who wants to live my life with me, help me deal with my two crazy little boys, take them fishing and hiking, make banana bread with them, and when we get the chance? Cook gourmet meals and take turns doing the "ugh" dishes....... And while gourmet is great?
Mashed potatoes are my favorite comfort food.
Sunday mornings with the lock on the bedroom door and the boys watching cartoons while the grownups enjoy 'away' time certainly isnt something to be dismissed. Catching the chance for US time with two little boys running around can be challenging, to say the least...but it can also be fun, and very funny......
A sense of humor and adventure is definately needed to be part of my crazy life.
