II'm an Active male in the process of transferring my business in Phoenix to other management. This update to my profile was made 07/07/08
By the end of July, I'll be in Lorane, Oregon decompressing. AND exploring the possibility of using my prior experience as a Consultant, in the US and other parts of the World. The Internet makes that a possibility today.
I'm looking for a Self Sufficient Woman, who knows who she is. I have an impetuous streak, so please do not have such a structured life, that, when the mood strikes, you would not on a whim, go and do or see something totally different, or not be willing to change plans to do something that would bring a smile to your face and heart.
I'm a chauvinist, still open doors, hold chairs, etc. Basically Cheerful, capable of laughing at myself, optimistic, but candid to a fault.
I'm a dyed in the wool romantic, impetuous, completely monogamous, traveled, self employed, and will probably remain so for the rest of my natural days. You will not find me at home, keeping you company on a daily basis - rather, you may, when possible, be traveling with me where ever my business interests lie. Retirement is not my forte.
Life and all its foibles interest me, and the day is wasted that I don't learn something new. Generally speaking, I hate the short, punchy dialog of e-mail. If you care enough, whether in business or personal correspondence, then you should be expressing that care by your communications.
Art, history, architecture, music, dance, theatre, outdoor events, flea markets, even junk yards can fascinate me. And I'd give anything, to have a garden again, where the earth would be my friend. At one time, long ago, I was a ball room dancer. Don't even know if I could do that again. Maybe Waltz.
Have traveled in US and Europe, inquisitive about all things. A reader, historical novels, mysteries, biographies; lover of acoustic jazz, some classical, drama, musicals; enjoy Joan Baez, Edith Piaf, Peggy Lee, Artie Shaw, Sarah Brightman, Shirley Bassey, Boston Pops, others too numerous from all genre. Comedians, from Charlie Chapman to Paula Poundstone.
Well, Ladies, if you got this far, and you feel we have a plethora or good number of similar interests {see above and below}, then we should meet - the only way to determine if there is chemistry between us. Don't know why, but have never seen two people fall in love with out looking into each others eyes, listening, and dreaming of what may be.
I'm looking for a woman I can touch, hold, kiss, nuzzle, put my arms around, show off too, smile about, talk too, listen to, please romantically. A woman whose comfortable with my hand on her bum, or holding hands, or having my arm around her waist - where ever we are. A woman who will eventually let me ravish her in bed.

A Lady I can cook for when I want; take to the theatre, ball games, flea markets, museums, restaurants, the mountains, ocean, deserts, woods, fields, concerts, big cities, small towns, swimming, sailing maybe, fishing, casinos, festivals, events, movies, or on a picnic. And, who will understand that when I'm reading a good book, I'm completely immersed, and the world will just have to go on with out me.
Some one to collect friends with, that add to our social life. Some one who is 'there', even when she is not, because she is part of my being. Some one who becomes part of my family as I become part of hers.
She'll frustrate me at times, bore me sometimes, ask me to do things when I don't want to, and have me do things because I care too.
She'll expect me to be candid, always – better than misleading her when I disapprove, and she'll reciprocate in kind.
We may not live together, but we will always be together.

I'm an early riser, impatient to see each new day, and what it offers. Providing fresh fruit to my Lady in bed in the morning, is a pleasure I have enjoyed many times over the years. Widowed twice, 4 children, 11 grandchildren. (All given “the Joy of Sex”)
I STOPPED Smoking because I am seriously seeking a comfortable relationship, with a caring Lady. (06/23/08) So, for all of you aware of how challenging that is, KNOW That For The Next 30 - 60 Days, I will be an edgy individual, until the drug is out of my system, and my body and mind have both adjusted to that fact. Had been a non-smoker for a long time up until about a year ago.
I know one thing, food and my Lady will Taste Better. And of course, I will smell better to her.
I hope this won't prevent our at least meeting each other during this time.
