I get along with people who are straightforward and sincere with their words and actions. The exception to this is sarcasm, which I find to be the best type of humor. I am a very independent person and really don't let other people's opinions influence me. I am a believer of equal treatment in a relationship and show the utmost respect for my companions. I am a sensible person who knows how to prepare for the long term. I own my own place and very good with my expenses.
I am in to many types of music and play with some local amateur musicians occasionally. There have been some recordings, but I doubt you will see us touring with Daughtry any time soon! Some of my favorite artists are Radiohead(saw them at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in WPB a few months ago... awesome!), Flaming Lips(saw them twice last year: at the Pompano Amphitheatre and at a summer festival called Bonnaroo which also had groups such as Tool/ White Stripes/ Kings of Leon/ Sasha and Digweed/ etc..), Beck(saw him at Mizner Park a few years ago and he played the song "Nobody's Fault" right after I requested it), Beastie Boys(saw them in Miami a few times over the last 15 plus years), and the classics from the 60's and 70's(Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd... did actually see Floyd about 10 years ago up in Orlando!).
Not too much of an outdoors person. I like going to the beach between sunsets and sunrises. I like to go to parks for picnics, barbeques and volleyball games mostly! Like to go camping and canoeing but not many options for that in the general area. Like to travel a couple times a year to see rock concerts and out-of-town friends. I like to do home-cooked meals... looking for someone to share recipes with. I don't let calorie counting get in the way of eating things that taste good! I hit the clubs every once in a while but prefer to watch a movie at a friend's house. Please contact me back if you find this intriguing.
