| Personality |
I'm too poor to be called eccentric, so let's just call me mad. I don't take myself too seriously, because the mad who take themselves too seriously end up as politicians or psychiatrists, and having had instruction in both, I know I don't want to be either one. I'm too cynical to be an optimist, and too optimistic to be an atheist. I'm a second-generation only daughter, I'm left-handed, and I'm easily distracted. I hate the world, I love the world, and I'm interested in everything. I've studied business, art, political science, biology, psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, and opticianry. I've had informal instruction in music and theatre. I love mythology, particularly ancient Egyptian, and I have a growing interest in Chinese and Japanese myth. I am extremely curious, but I have the attention span of a mosquito on meth. Consequently, I know a little bit about a lot of things, yet not enough in any one area to constitute being an "expert". I'm either fickle or a Renaissance woman; take your pick. It's entirely possible I may be a fickle Renaissance woman. Well, I do enjoy wearing corsets . . .
