I have never been very good at describing myself, preferring people make their own assessment when we meet, though I will do the best I can to give a general idea of who I am, or believe myself to be. I am soft spoken, well mannered, socially shy, curious, honest (to a fault), extremely respectful, articulate (most of the time), fairly intelligent, and can carry a decent conversation. I have been told that I am charming and have a disarming smile. I would say that my best quality is my ability and desire to learn from my life’s experiences, both good and bad. Like everyone else, I have my own quirks and faults which you will either find endearing or irritating. I am, if nothing else, a work in progress.
I enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, exploring new places, boating, theater, and taking walks. I enjoy golf quite a bit, mostly for the chance to spend time with friends, walking around the beautifully landscaped greens while talking about everything and nothing. The game itself isn't so bad either, though I, on the other hand, am.
I try to make it down to the beach at least once a year, being sure to go crabbing while I am there. I have not gone into the ocean itself ever since I struck a deal with the sharks in which they agree not to eat me so long as I stay out of their dining area.
I enjoy watching the UFC now and again, and curling up to enjoy a decent movie with someone special.
