I'm a recent grad who moved to DC from California a few months ago. I work and live downtown. I can be reserved but I'm too opinionated to stay quiet in a group for long and I have a knack for talking myself out of a bad situation. Otherwise I'm pretty easy going and I like a good laugh. I'm well read, but not a pretentious douchebag about it. I love traveling and I believe the two finest things in this world are a journey and a good story. All they need to complete them are a companion and a listener (and preferably a stiff drink as well.)
As for myself, I like reading, traveling, cooking, draft beer and going out, pretty standard for a twenty something in a city. I also enjoy a scotch and a cigar once in a while. I cook, not especially well, but well enough to feed myself and not be dependent on takeout. I 've started painting as of late. So far it looks like a blue blob squishing up against a brown one. I would definitely like to do more hiking, camping, kayaking with someone.
In a woman, I value intelligence, strength of character, sensitivity, kindness-I guess I could keep throwing random words out there. It's not like these traits pigeon hole a small group of people, they tend to be latent in most individuals. It's really as simple as us liking one another face to face.
