Hello! I am a relatively-recent widower who is socially and politically liberal. I am an active Democrat and confirmed politics and news junkie. I'm also a longtime movie fanatic - my preferences are horror, science fiction and James Bond but I'll watch nearly anything that's good (even so-called 'chick flicks' but it'll be a battle!). My idea of a good evening out is a good play or movie, a comedy club or a nice coffeehouse and good conversation. Kissing, cuddling and beyond makes that good evening great. Bars are OK as long as they're not so loud that I have to send up flares and use semafore flags to communicate. I'd like to do more outdoorsy kinds of things, but I find it hard to do given that most of my days off are split. My music tastes tend toward classic rock but open to being introduced to newer stuff, jazz and blues but I'll listen to darn near anything live.
