A chick for all seasons and in any situation: normally a seriously uptight type A personality, I have loosened up considerably in the last few years. Still hate crying like a girl and I can't throw any better than one. But I laugh a lot more now and I can still weave a music reference into practically any conversation. If music won't fit I've got a sci-fi/wheaton's blog comment to slide in under the radar.
While I prefer sedate hobbies, there are times I just want to grab a pair of hiking boots and go get lost somewhere (preferably with a trusty swiss army knife, roll of duct tape, some twine and infallible survival sense and a buddy with think tank resources if things get dicey).
Most of the time I don't mind having my own space, in fact, I relish it. A person has to have human connections, peeps to laugh with and someone who is a brick wall that one can bash one's head into.
Mostly a person just has to have dependable peeps who won't manipulate. I am those kinds of peeps for those kinds of peeps.
