I am a Christian first and foremost and I'm hoping to find someone who is also a Christian, denomination is not necessarily important.
Currently, I live in rural Maine, north of Bangor, with several cats and a 9-year old Border Collie. I love animals and consider my pets my "living hobby". I believe I have a good sense of humor and I do think laughter is very important in life......especially later life. Having been a teen in the 60's may have contributed to my free- spirited, independent-thinking. I am not a clinger, nor one for unwarranted public displays of affection.
I grew up in Massachusetts in a large family that always discussed politics, religion, and current events, which I believe has helped me to appreciate others' views and opinions. My political views are conservative and important to me. I love tallk radio and discussing current events.
I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, surfinig the internet, writing, and I love music, being partial to classic rock, Gospel, some country. I like Bob Seger, The Moody Blues and Marty Robbins,
Spring 2009 I am planning to relocate a little further south, getting "out of the woods" and "back to the beach", looking toward the coast of Maine. The days do grow short when you reach September.
