OK- Here goes. I'm a divorced father of two teenagers, a 17 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. I spend most of my free time with them(and my dog) and have not really been in the dating scene for a while. I have had some life-changing events happen over the past year, and I guess it is time to try and find that special someone because frankly, life is just too short. I don't drink or do the bar scene, so this seemed like an interesting place to start. I am a pretty laid back individual, and have a great sense of humor, but I really dont have any patience for games or deception. I try to be a decent person as best as I can, and I recently have started attending a church again on a regular basis.I am not a bible thumper, or a person that judges others, I just needed to get back to the way I was raised. I am looking for someone to spend some time with who wants to take things slowly and really get to know each other. Friends first- always the best foundation. If we cant be friends, then I wouldnt want to take it to that next level. I enjoy classic rock and most of the newer music, I can listen to country on occasion, but I'm not very fond of rap. I enjoy just about anything that has to do with being outdoors, but I also love movies and trivia. I love riding my motorcycles, but I don't have alot of rowdy friends, or belong to a MC or anything like that. The only person I really ride with is my son. A lot of people thought I was crazy buying my 16 year old a Harley Davidson, but I'm just cool like that. Seriously though, it has brought us closer and I have taught him all of the safe riding habits that I could. It's really alot of fun to go out to eat together with my daughter on the back of my bike, and my son right there in the rearview.I also have an SUV for all you non-motorcycle gals. I wouldn't make you ride on the back of my bike unless you wanted to. LOL. Anyhow, my kids are getting more independant each day, and after spending the last few years raising them, it's time for Me to find someone for himself. I am not opposed to dating someone with children of their own, and would consider having more if the right person made their way into my life. I am an animal lover, and my German shepherd is truly my best friend ( probably because he is so spoiled!) We spend ALOT of time playing frisbee. Everyone on here seems to get the wrong impression of me. I guess it's the bikes and the leather.
