Personality
I'm originally from South Dakota. I was raised on a horse ranch there. I've been in Georgia for 13 years. I still cook like a typical mid-western woman, but I've learned how to cook a few good southern dishes! I'm loving, intelligent, fun, independent and funny! I tend to think realistically and can be very cautious, yet I look for the good in everything and everyone.

I have five children - 3 boys, 2 girls. I have an 18 yr old son, a 13 yo daughter, a 12 yo son, a 10 yo daughter and an 8 yo son. This school year, I'll have one in high school, two in middle school and two in elementary school. I'm blessed to have the best children any parent could have asked for. They're cute, intelligent, respectful, independent, athletic, artistic, musically inclined and caring individuals.... all that comes from me, of course... well except for the artistic and musical talents.... I have NO idea where those traits come from!!

My oldest son plays rhythm guitar in a Death Metal Band called "Self Sacrifice". I'm forced to attend some of his concerts. I remember hearing something from him about how since I'm his mom I should be supportive, or some strange concept like that. Self Sacrifice recorded their first demo on April 4, 2008. They have one of their songs up on myspace. If you like that kind of music, please email me and I'll give you the web address so you can listen to it. They actually are pretty good. They have shows booked through August. Write me and I'll give you dates and locations.

The younger four keep me running from one event to another. They've placed in science fairs, poetry recitation, writing and art competitions. They are in jazz band, chorus, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, soccer...... and.... .... I think that's all. I've been known to show up at an event with the wrong child. But that's ONLY happened a couple of times!! I SWEAR!!!

I've been a single parent for 7 years. At first it was very hard and very scary. But the children and I have adjusted and are doing very well for ourselves. Being in a solid, loving relationship with a great man would be a wonderful experience that would make my life and my children's lives better but I have such a hard time picturing a man fitting into my family right now. It will take a very special man to change my mind... and the minds of my children. They're the hard ones to win over! They are supportive of me dating but assure me that they'll run all the bad ones off... because they love me so much! Remember there's 5 of them, so best of luck to you!

I work a full time day job, M-F from 8-5 where I'm the manager of a local government office. I've had that job for 7 years and I love it! I also work a part time night and weekend job at a local grocery store, as a cashier. I started my part time job on April 5th. So far, I like that job too. It's a lot different from my day job, and is a fun place to work.

I have been a member of DH for a while now and have figured out that I must not be ready to be in a relationship right now. I find that I roll my nose up at every man who sends me an email. And winks annoy me so I delete those, oftentimes without even bothering to look at his profile. So... I don't think I'm really looking for someone right now. I don't even bother to do searches anymore....I guess I don't even care who is out there right now. I do enjoy the forums though, mostly the Georgia Forum. I guess it's just not the right time in my life for a relationship.... but if I were looking for a man, this is what I'd be looking for: a quality man who would enjoy taking me out on the town every once in a while. He should be confident in himself and be sucessful at whatever he does. He needs to be over his past relationship issues. This man must understand and respect that my children are my # 1 priority. I'd prefer a man without children or with grown children, but if he has children, they must be # 1 in his life. While I'm not looking for a father for my children, if a man can't be a good father to his own, he has no business being around mine!

Someday in the future, my dream is to own my own Harley and a cute little Bichon Frise purse puppy. Oh, and it was decided on the message boards that I am waiting for Mr. Right and will not settle for Mr. Good Enough!

I have a picture of my ex-husband on my profile. I am trying to find him in the hopes of obtaining child support for my children. He was last seen in Greeley, Colorado but could be living in Arizona. If you have any information pertaining to his whearabouts, please contact either me or Georgia Child Support Enforcement. Email me if you need further information.

I hope to hear from you soon!
