I am a self-employed antique and secondhand dealer who owns his home debt-free in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana. I am quite conservative in most areas of politics. I am from an evangelical christian background (my father was a pastor). As a young adult I attended three years at a conservative Bible school. I regularly attend a small community church though I am "faith challenged." I love to joke around making people laugh though I can be quite shy of people I have not gotten to know. I enjoy spending time visiting with my four brothers and one sister and their families. I love antiques and enjoy history. I love interacting with children, but I am not insistent on having any of my own (though if I were to be blessed with a loving wife and "we" were to become pregnant, it would be an exciting time for me, and I believe I would be a fun and loving father who would take joy in spending quantity and quality time with our child(ren)).
I would not expect any woman to always fulfill all of the following ideals perfectly (I know I don't!), but here is what I would desire in a woman: My ideal woman would love to laugh and joke around. She would be playful, affectionate, romantic, kind, understanding, patient, and forgiving. She would be thoughtful, resourceful, and wise. She would be responsible with finances. She would respect our differences and not be nagging and complaining in an attempt to change me into something I am not meant to be; instead she would be someone I can admire and who can inspire me to greater things by her positive example and joy of life. Being in good general health and fitness would be a plus. She would not smoke or be obese (though having a few extra pounds would not necessarily be a dis-qualifier). She would not be an abuser of drugs or alcohol and not be a gambler. She would not be physically or verbally abusive, and would not use foul language. She would have a healthy libido (but would be willing to wait til marriage). She would either be an evangelical Christian or at least open to or tolerant of evangelical Christianity. She would enjoy holding my hand and snuggling close to me whether at church, at home, or around town. We would have both a physical and emotional chemistry that would keep us close in mind and spirit even at times we spend apart.
