Boise native . Worked overseas for 15 years in Europe and Asia. Returned to Boise - semi retired.
Looking for an energetic mate to share walks, movies, dinner, a quiet evening in front of the fire..a bit of travel.
I enjoy a little of everything - camping, hiking, motorcycles, skiing, flyfishing, a cabin in the mountains a little yard work. My recent most memorable experience was riding a motorcycle thru New Zealand. I own an inflatable kayak I'd like to get more use of. I would like to see more beaches and and parts of the world I haven't been to - maybe South America.
Currently, I am remodeling a home in the Northend of Boise. I'm good at the teardown phase - I need a little help on the finnish work!
I exercise 2-3 times aweek and I'm pretty fit. I am quiet but not shy - pretty easy going not a control freak. I am comfortable in jeans and shorts or I can dress for a nice occasion. I have some foreign language - mostly Spanish (I'm part Basque).
I play golf once or twice a year. I'm not into watchin pro sports on TV except for the occasional mayor sporting events. I do follow the Boise State Broncos and watch or go to their games.
Alcohol is not a problem. I enjoy a good drink or a glass of wine. Just don't ask me to tell you the world history of wines - I know there are reds and whites and some give you hangovers.
I'm a survivor of military service(early 70"s) and a plane crash in Sun Valley in 2000. I no longer keep my pilots license current; my motorcycle provides me with that kind of stimulus.
I have a wonderful son (17) who does not live with me but is in the area. The picture with him in Silver City is almost 5 yrs old, He is now 6'5" and I'm a tad older - maybe shorter!
I believe there is still alot of adventure out there; I want a piece of it and would like to enjoy it with the right lady.
I have always had pets. Mostly dogs. I'm not fond of cats.
