I like to be active but also enjoy quiet times
I am a person of small material needs but big on the thrill of nature and being able to give to the people I love. Ever since I got my license, I have been going up north to backpack and ski. A hip injury from years of contact sports and road racing slowed me down until I had A hip replacement in 04. Now I am better than I have been in many years. Spring through fall, I mountain bike as often as 3 times a week and will go to the gym on off days. I have traveled to many of our nation parks and was at Grand Canyon for the third time last September. I love that place. One summer I rafted more than 100 miles of the river and hiked many of the side canyons. Let me tell you more in person if I get the chance, hiking glaciers in Canada, the top of the Rockies, rafting or hot air ballooning. I also enjoy watching the Sox and Patriots and have season tickets for the Pat's and attend most of the home games but will also pass up a game for other plans ( a weekend trip, family functions, ect..).
Ofcourse I hope to share all the everyday things that come with being with someone special. A quiet evening together on the couch, going out to dinner, a movie, the theater, weekend getaways are only the beginning of the things I could list. I crave to have that intimacy with someone, from the touch of a hand or a passing look that speaks a thousand words!
