.. I am looking to meet new friends right now, I am recently divorced so I am not ready for anything serious yet, I need to take things slow and if something more comes from our friendship down the road then thats great but if not then I have gained a good friend, how can I lose with that? I am in no hurry for anything serious and have recently learned to be happy own my on, without a man and I now know that you don't have to have a man to complete you or make you happy, that is something I have to do for myself. I have really learned alot of things and alot of hard lessons lately but I know I am a stronger woman for them and a better woman for the man that captures my heart!! Mainly looking for someone to talk to and hang out with sometime, it does get lonely at times,I spend alot of weekends alone, and it gets tough some nights but I had rather be alone than to be with someone just because they are there at the time. :love: I want him to be sweet to me and really and truly adore me as much as I adore him, I want a man that is caring and compassionate, not only to me but to my son and others around him. I can be a little fiery :devil: and fiesty at times,:angel: well alot because I love to play around and talk alot of smack (lol)I am a very passionate woman and can be quiet intense and like to get on a deeper level of conversation at times. If you are my friend, I will always have your back, no matter what, I will also stand up and fight for what I believe in when I have to, I don't back down and just give up on people. I am a very honest person that wants the same in return. I am a big believer in having morals and values. Sense of humor is important to me as well, I need a friend that can make me smile again. I am a very giving, loyal and devoted friend and just need the same from someone.But, the most important quality that I will look for when that time does come for me to take the chance and fall in love again is a man that has "true grit" yes, it was a john wayne movie lol, but seriously I have that about myself and want and need a man that can be tough when needed and doesn't just become a coward and run at the first of trouble or problems!! I need a man with staying power lol. Fishing is very important to me as well, it is my passion and would love to find someone to start fishing with again. I would love to go fishing on lake fork someday, I have heard that there are some big bass in that lake :fishing: I also enjoy spending time with my 15 yr old daughter that lives in AL,with her father and my little man,:run: who is almost 12 and watching my him play football (love hearing those pads hitting!!) I love watching LSU and the Dallas Cowboys play. I wish everyone the best of luck and I hope to hear from you if you are interested in friendship with me. I have been to destin, florida for the last 2 yrs and love it there and hope to find a good friend one day to go again with. It is the most beautiful place I have ever been!! Or sitting outside by a nice fire and just talking. It is the simple things in life that are the best most of the time, watching the sunrise or sunset over the lake, laying out on the boat deck and feeling the warmth of the sun on your body, waking up to a good cup of coffee and sitting out on the patio enjoying the morning,jumping on a 4 wheeler when it starts to rain and find a few good mud holes lol, being outdoors and enjoying all the beauty around us and living life to the fullest, laying in the back of my truck at night and gazing at the stars. That is what it's all about, the good stuff don't cost a thing!What I am trying to say here is that with a little romantic creativity and a little effort you can plan a great date. Things don't have to be expensive or elaborate to be romantic or special. And the man that will eventually be able to capture my heart will have to stand out and above the rest for me, I am not the average woman and don't want the normal things all the time. Thats what I meant when I wrote above about a first date, some of my most romanctic and memorable dates have been very simple, romantic yet not typical dates. Going to dinner and a movies is fine but I am just as happy sitting by a nice fire somewhere with a sweet man, with his arms all wrapped around me tight, feeling safe and secure and good conversation, it just don't get no better than that boys!! I guess I think a little bit outside of the box sometimes, but this is I am!! If the right man is out there, you will have to have patience with me and move slowly. But, all at the same time I want to be swept right up off my feet when we do find eachother.
