I am typically a pretty confident, funny, and humble person. I can be quite romantic at times and do have a more playful side. I have been described many times by my friends and family as loyal, reserved, intelligent, a knight in shining armor, a white knight, and the last boy scout. I am a scoutmaster and soccer coach. I enjoy walking, relaxing, campfires, thunderstorms, the rain, mountains, playing pool, wrestling, martial arts, and other physical activities (although I am not in quite as good of shape as I once was). I would love to have a jogging and weight training partner.
I will be encouraging and supportive of your goals (within reason). I am not interested in rescuing anyone or in getting to serious right away. Really, I would rather have a friend that is comfortable saying anything and everything that is on her mind. If you have trouble being honest, open, and direct, than you should tell me right away, so I know what to expect.. Cause I really do not care what you do or if you are seeing someone else, but I am not going to play games either.
I have a pretty good idea of where I am headed in my life and what I want out of my life. Eventually, I want a lady that can be completely open and honest about her own morals, desires, and goals (and the reasons behind them).. Not that they need to match mine at all, but she does need to be able to respect mine.. And my comfort level w certain things. I want a lady that knows exactly what she wants for her life.. And exactly what she would and would not do morally to make it happen. I want someone that knows the meaning of true dedication and would generally be fiercely loyal to the people and ideals that she believes in. I also want a lady that has the intelligence to understand opposing viewpoints and ability to communicate her deepest feelings assertively and effectively to those around her. I have been in both the military and law enforcement at one time (not that I personally agree w every single law or public interpretations thereof), but I can come off as stern or firm at times (that does not mean that you can not challenge me if needed, I would disappointed if you did not have the guts to say something when you needed to). Passive aggressive personalities to not set well with me. I often debate w the people closest to me. Not that I disagree with their viewpoint, but I do care enough to question sometimes in order to really understand.. I know my wish list is long and you have not even seen half of it.. I am not holding my breathe for cinderella to show up..
