65 yo white haired (hair has been white,cotton head most of my life,lol) widow, Retired registered nurse. Looking for a nice gentleman for friendship and hopefully more. I enjoy flea markets, yard sales, drives to the mountains, waterfalls, ocean, or just sitting on the couch watching tv. I enjoy the CSI series and most comedys. I do perfer causal dress these days, but still remember how to dress up to the occasion, have not been active in that social circle in a long time, too busy working. I have been the caregiver for most of my family including my husband for many years and it is now time for me to enjoy and return to the world of the well and living.....
I have one daughter that is a social worker with children. 4 grand children. 2 in Texas (my deceased sons daughter and son) and 2 in Tenn,I great grand daughter that really does give me a reason to stay on my toes. If I could, would have just had the great grand lol ,she is so special.......hopefully she will run a few of these extra pounds I have gained since retiring off.....
I have enjoyed meeting a lot of aol friends at some of their get togethers, the pic on the profile was made at the Nashville Bash in april,08. I am not in the belief that we are meant to be totally alone the rest of our life, so I am interested in finding someone that shares some of my interests. I have enjoyed meeting a lot of nice people at the bashes, and enjoy several great friendships from them.
Retired and enjoy travel. I enjoy playing bingo occasionally. I have gone to the casino in cherokee, but I set a limit on what I will spend for entertainment there.
I hope to spend part of the colder part of winter in Fl. I am tired of the ice and snow...Looking forward to being a snow bird, like the ones I used to complain about in my teens lol. Sure seems like a hundred years ago when I felt the snow birds were just little old women getting in my way ...Of course the little old men were worse drivers then.....................ouch....yes I still have my sense of humor.
