I got to experience that elusive true love you hear about, but seems that most people never find, so they just settle. Death snatched my soul mate from me. I'm at that stage in my life that I know exactly what I want & need and it is that Zing, and without the Zing it's just going through the motions. I met my late wife on Match Doctor and it was true love just like a Fairy tale, but with an unhappy ending, she passed away suddenly 4 days after her 50th birthday. So I'm back on the dating sites hoping lightning will strike a second even though I know the odds are against me.
A little about me: I'm the kind of guy that opens doors, drops you off at the front of the store and parks the car & then helps you shop for whatever. It could be groceries, clothes just about anything even the thrift shop, garage sales or whatever suits our fancy. We can talk or discuss just about any subject you want with thoughtful and engaging intelligence. I also have the knowledge ability to fix or do about anything you can think of and you are welcome to help if you choose. I will not smother you as you can have your own quiet time as you desire.
I want to plan a few cruises a year to different places as a relaxation goal, to see the world and all of it's beauty. It would be a lot more enjoyable to do it with a gal that has similar desires.
I like to do all kinds of things such as garage sales, shopping scouring Sunday's papers for sales, movies, cycling for my exercise, dining out once in a while for breakfast, lunch or dinner, going to Art on the Green in CDA, Spokane Craft Warnings ( an art show held in the fall in Spokane ) the carving show sometime in the summer held at Spokane Community College. I don't go to the Spokane County Fair much because it has gotten way too expensive most of the time. Just going for a ride to see the area and fall trips to Green Bluff and Metaline Falls for the train ride. I'm close to retirement and I worked my last regular day at on June 26, 2008 after 23 almost years. I have already hustled up some consulting work for the City of Airway Heights in reference to their new WWTP. I am doing a constructability review, value engineering and helping to verify the engineers estimate. So I guess I'm saying that I will probably never totally retire. I like working in my woodshop and make all kind of things. My favorite task is floral relief carving. I can send you pic's if you want but we should do that via regular Email as I'm not sure how to attach outside files to this site's Email.
I know really deep down I am possibly a little older than you most of you are really looking for, but age does not limit integrity. My thoughts on that issue are that I do not believe age limits the true honesty and sincerity that is inside someone’s heart. Just so you know what I believe in and I think is most important, and is what really makes me tick: It's the little things that matter most. With the right person , you know that Zing feeling, I sincerely like to hold hands, engage in intelligent conversation, caress her face, leave little sticky love notes, write poem's from the heart, tell her how much she means to me, how pretty she is, how sexy she looks, to be in total awe when I look at her face when she's asleep and how proud I am to be with her when we go places. She's the only one I see in a crowded room. We can have a good time at home or out doing something. It's who your with that counts as the place is really unimportant for it to be special. Of course we need the physical attraction, that Zing I referred to get something started, just as I believe our maker intended from the beginning. Kind of like a perpetual honeymoon that has no end.
What I'm looking for is that she gives me the same in return and does not put on phony airs. I really think it is the small stuff that matters, if it is the right small stuff.
Bottom line is I am looking for my best friend & partner, sometimes referred to as our other half. A good personality and engaging conversation is a must. Thin really makes my heart race and I think glasses are intelligent & sexy. I prefer casual but will get dressed up for those special occasions.
