I'm a nice guy, with a great sense of humor, a great deal of intelligence, I'm laid back and easy going, and I've got the patience of a saint. I like to get out and have a good time if the company is right, which seems to be such an increasing rarity anymore, to my own personal dismay. That being said, I'm not a man without his share of faults, but that just comes with being human. Nobody's perfect after all.
I'm a college graduate (BS in Biology/Anthropology - USC Columbia) with ill defined ambitions, but ambitions nonetheless, and I'd certainly say that I've got my act together pretty darned well compared to most of the guys that I know my age. I've got a rather diverse range of interests and I'm always looking to learn and experience new things. I'd say that I've got an incredibly open minded, yet grounded, approach to life.
I've tried a number of these online sites to meet people because my social and work circles just aren't very conducive to meeting datable people. That being said, I'd say that 99.9% of the people I've ever spoken to through these sites or through similar means are, well, flaky at best, but if it's free, so I figure, why not give it a shot (even if it seems like spitting in the wind)? I guess you never know when you might run accross that needle in a haystack.
I'd love to meet someone who I can have a great time getting to know, who isn't afraid to be a little impulsive and knows how to just go with the flow when needed.
Oh, I'm not looking for someone who I'm going to shoot 2 or 3 shallow emails back and forth with and never talk to again. It absolutley kills me when people on these sites do that. If you want to talk to me, please, don't half-ass it (forgive me for being blunt). I'm not saying you've got to give me your life's story and confess your deepest darkest secrets after a couple of emails, but what I'm saying is, that if I catch your interest enough to talk to, take the honest effort to get to know me before writing me off. It's a waste of everyone's time otherwise, and if there's one thing I'm tired of in life and relationships, regarldess of where they might be, it's feeling like I'm constantly playing games with people, who half the time, I don't even know.
I'm looking forward to whoever I might meet.
