The only time it is even noticed in a negative way is when it is black and white, any other combination happens without comment. Asian, Hispanic, Native American, and people of any other group are free to mix and match and it's totally acceptable.

Op,
I see a lot of racist pigs on here, but, it is not like that everywhere

Try a progressive college town. People come from every country to go to big colleges, like OSU.
is a great mixture of ethnicities, and mixed couples of any race is common place!

I remember when I was a kid in the 70s in our neighborhood there was a couple male was black and the female was white. They were both very nice. As I would play outside I would hear people make comments and racial slurs towards them. At times there would be stuff done to the house they lived in. I asked my mother why people were doing that to them. She told me that people are ignorant and if two people want to be together then it doesn't matter what they look like. Love is blind.

The couple never tried to strike back at those who were taunting them. They kept to there own business.

I commend them for their courage

Whats funny is no matter how many times this is asked, it gets answered over and over....many times by the same people, and those wanting to express how modern they are.

I know of two women who always said...its fine, great and etc....but in private emails...told me they only date their own race.

Thats why a forum isn't always the best place for honest answers...neither is high school....for the same reason.

Actually the thing that surprised me is how many black men still have a problem with black women dating other races..

I agree, no matter if we agree or not...I think everyone should have their choice in who they date for whatever their reasons are.

Thats the very premis of the freedoms of this country, what countless soldiers died for over the years to protect..

and I don't agree with cowersing others into going against their will either, thru any kind of munipulation....thats so Hitler/Manson like to me.

and who's to say in someone mind, they have a good reason that goes beyond racism to why they may choose or not to date any certain race...we have not walked in their shoes.

And why is it when a post like this comes up....the real motivation is....the op's are really just wanting to advertise, they are here to date other races??...in a subliminal way...of course.

Well..if this doesn't get flagged....I suppose Mickey and few dozen of his profiles will have something to say here....

Exactly. Who cares what others think.
Interracial couple have been going on science the dawn of time. Practically every "Hispanic" is a product of ir couples.
But op only meant black white. Specifically black man white woman.
Its a shame that we haven't progressed farther than this.
Dating someone because of their color or ethnicity, is just as insane as not dating someone for that reason.
Date which you want because you like that particular person. Not for any other reason.

Other than that, all my dates have belonged to the human race.

Dude...I don't figure most for checking back to see if something has been asked a lot.

Or else, we wouldn't have so many nice guys threads, or size questions, or questions about squirting....

Its just we just went thru months of horrid race stuff and battles on here....and the main group got so tired of it, and the effect it had on the forums here...I think it triggered off some of the other problems we had on here too.

Finally it settled down a lot and just recently...we were kinda holding our breaths around in here....hoping nothing would trigger it again.

The bottom line is....for the most part most don't have a problem with it....whether they participate or not, but there will always be some that do...and I doubt that will ever completely change.

Either way...I'm not even sure I'm from this planet, and if not....then what did I really look like before I was changed to look human....???

now...thats a real delima.....lol

I'm going to make a guess here but they got married because they loved each other not based on the babies they would possibly make?

Not all of us are on here are old posters. He said he didn't see that it was done to death. There are posters here that haven't posted before so its relevant to them.

I fail to see what the big deal is. Date whomever you wish.
The days of mob lynching are over. People go through their lives every day without any fear of reprisal.
GET OVER IT ALREADY!
I see beautiful inter-racial couples together every day. I get more strange looks from them than they get. If you are uncomfortable with it...Then simply don't do it! Why make such a big deal out of it? It's like you WANT there to be a problem.
STOP with the race threads already! If people like you STOP making all this noise over it...Perhaps this country could begin to heal. Instead...YOU keep rubbing it with salt.

Here is all anyone really needs to know about racial dating in the United States.

It is a free country. You can date whoever you want, as long as they want to date you.

Oh, and here is another thought you may want to think about. It is also a free country, where every citizen has the right to have personal choices about what race of people they choose to date or not to date.

Just because someone prefers to date only people of their own race, it does not mean they are being racial in any way- it means they are practicing their freedom of choice.

So, since your question has more to do with personal choice, than what is considered taboo etc. there are no right or wrong answers here. Everyone's answer will be different.

Thats not racist...but it is prejudice and says alot about being superficial because u obviously date for whats on the outside rather than the inside. perhaps a man will come along some day who will change your mind.

It seems that the only people who have a problem with it are blacks. This issue has never been discussed or commented on among any group of whites, beyond perhaps the KKK.
It certainly has never been discussed among any of my friends.

Who keeps bringing up this subject in here...Blacks.

Out in the real world, I have witnessed blacks who engage negatively towards inter-racial couples more so than whites. In fact, I witnessed a group of whites STOP a few blacks who surrounded an inter-racial couple and made them leave them alone, and then escorted the couple to their car, for their safety.

Just STOP it already!

Qft. Most of dating is superficial but that is the epotime of superficial.

We all date prejudicially. We judge them worthy or not on only a few qualities.

That so

So Define what your race is

Then tell me what continent you descend from

Then tell me what Regions

Go back to throw your family history and make sure your a hundred percent whatever you say you are.

do you even know what you are Black is not a race white is not also.

They are both just shortcuts because most people in America don't know

So tell me what you are without saying black.

So you think when there is no more resounding cries of "where de white wimmens at" it will become a non-issue as with other races?

Personally, I don't care to be objectified instead of being seen as a person/woman first and foremost. Being sought for the color of ones skin is just as repellant as being rejected for it.

Racism is the belief that one race is superior to another. That has to be taught, or developed as a cultural ideology.

Prejudice is different. Prejudice is the pre-judging of a situation or person based upon less than all the facts. Prejudice is a survival mechanism. It developed to keep us safe: If you see a lion charging at you, you will automatically assume it is going to eat you. It may actually be coming up to lick your face, but our assumption is that a charging lion wants to eat us.

The truth is, we are all a little prejudice about something. If something can be pre-judged in any conceivable way- it can become a prejudice. Women have prejudices about men. And men have prejudices about women. It is because women pre-judge men, and men pre-judge women. It's natural to some degree. Not ever man feels comfortable with just any woman, and visa versa.

We all know where we feel comfortable and where we feel uncomfortable.

So if you think you are some super human without any prejudices, you may just be overlooking reality.

Racism is wrong- prejudice is somewhat the norm.

I'm simply stating that it's normally the blacks who keep the inter-racial relationship subject alive. They try and make it sound like it's whites who have a problem with it, while it's actually more blacks who are a threat to these couples in real life.

And yes, I think when these dumbasses quit saying stupid phrases like "Where de white mimmens at", people might think they actually have a little respect for others.

Thats not racist...but it is prejudice and says alot about being superficial because u obviously date for whats on the outside rather than the inside. perhaps a man will come along some day who will change your mind.

I completely disagree...

If you are not ATTRACTED to a person because of their skin color that is PREFERENCE. For example...if there is something about a person's outside features that is a deal breaker for you...I don't care if they have a personality like Mother Teresa wrapped in any loving giving stellar personality....

It ain't happenin'.....

Same here

But this country is unique as a melting pot.

In reality Canada and Aussie is comprised mostly of one race of people...with very few of any other races....percentage wise

If it were that way here....odds are it would be no different here....unless under the same conditions, there is no way to know how it would be "there" otherwise.

The other thing is, the Politicians and Big Business perpretated a lot of the racism to keep the groups divided, to curb mass protest from ever happening again.

all in the name of more money for them.

So, I will admit greed is the rule of the land here....but it wasn't always that way.

But in every country the little people are perpretated in one way or another by its leaders.

I didn't author the following, but I agree with it and it has to do with how we take pride in ourselves as individuals:

And precisely why is “black pride” a positive thing, but “white pride” redundant and abhorrent? Rather than suggest that “black pride” is a positive and “white pride” is a negative, why not accept the fact that pride in something one cannot help or change is redundant and abhorent? Rather than perpetuate the idea that minorities are oppressed and need special treatment, let us embrace the idea that people are created equal, but their actions and behaviors lead them to greater or lesser lives. Proposing the “black pride” is good an “white pride” is bad only perpetuates the idea of white superiority and reinforces the prejudice and resentment that can become racism.

No, “white pride” is not productive. Neither is “black pride.” Both perpetuate a negative categorization and reinforce prejudice.

When we “celebrate diversity” by talking about it in adult terms–that is, by discussion minorities and ignoring white diversity–it perpetuates the idea among white children that whites are somehow different, somehow superior. Children aren’t as empty a slate as we often credit them for being. They perceive and infer far better than we like to think. When we celebrate diversity but only talk about minorities, both white and minority children see this, and form new prejudices based upon it

Until and unless we celebrate all diversity, we will continue to perpetuate prejudice in America. Until celebrations of Swedish, Polish and Italian culture is put on an equal plateau with celebrating the cultures of Mexicans, Nigerians and Indians, that seemingly imperceptible omission will be noticed, recorded and internalized. It will reinforce new prejudices and, uncorrected, can become resentment and even hate.

Whenever I see anything on Austrailia....its always white people and the Aboriginies are segregated into their own world.

If there are any other races there, it must be in such low numbers, anything is irrelevent....when a group is in such small numbers, they never rock the boat.

percentage wise....just how many blacks are in Canada or Austrailia???...or other races for that matter, and do they all live together? or separately.

and in Canada I don't mean French Based either, thats not a racial difference.

From what I see, the Eskimoes live off by themselves.

Well?

I know u may not know this....but there are people with brown skin too.

Lots of different colors of skin out there. so no...there really isnt a difference.

Furthermore...if the color of skin is a preference....are you going to break up with that white man if u go on vacation and he gets "too dark"? sounds like a load of crap to me lol

Its all about the connection.... never know what you could miss. if you are truly in the game to find love and passion in your life, you will have no color boundary.

You just don't understand the word preference....

For your information affirmative action is one of the last laws in dating...If I prefer a certain look, then getting to know them is next.

If you were in a crowded room...does the personality scream across the room to you? No...the "look" is what attracts you first.

You are entitled to date whom ever you choose...and no one has the right to say otherwise. I respect your right in "choice"...allow others the same...easy enough isn't it?...and THAT'S not a load of crap....
